the booking in process went smoothly however they still tried to sell the extra insurance which we had purchased through affordable trying to say it was not as good cover as they recommended. We declined. So they then tried to up-grade the car at €20 a day for a VW Golf or €50 a day for a VW Tiguan.we also declined as we were more than happy with the car/price from affordable. Also very happy with fuel deal FULL to FULL but once again they tried to do a deal that if we paid €46 we could return the car empty. All in all good but all the hard sell process made it take longer than usual at the desk. Looking to book again with affordable and will be aware of all the above comments /selling when collecting car this time

We arrived on the last plane to Seville. And when we got out of the customs and passport control there was NO one at Europe car so we could not pick up the car, loosing a day, since we had to return the day after to the airport to pick up the car.

Didnt have any issues with this hire car company and with it costing nearly nothing due to using tesco clubcard vouchers it was a great deal. The only thing i would say is that we paid for extra cover through the website but when we got there she just said we had the standard cover so not really sure what happened here but as we didnt need to use it, it wasnt an issue.

We booked with Europcar as we had booked with them many times before and even used them at Tenerife Reina Sofia airport before. Our flight got in shortly before 10pm and after speaking with the guy on the Europcar desk, it turned out that they didn't have any cars in the group that we had reserved left! We had to take a Fiat Panda, which with 2 adults, 1 baby in a car seat, 3 suitcases and a buggy was almost impossible. My wife ended up having to sit with her legs up on the back seat as the boot was only good enough for one bag. The guy on the Europcar desk didn't really care and told us we could come back to the airport the following day to change it for a bigger car at no extra cost. We actually did go back to the airport the next day at around midday and they changed the car for an Astra which was much more like what we had reserved. I'd think twice about using them again, especially if our flight is landing in the evening as they don't seem to hold back the cars for those who have reserved them. They fobbed us off with a smaller car probably hoping we wouldn't make the almost 2 hour round-trip to the airport to change it...

we hired two cars from Europcar and Sixt for two journeys consecutively and booked using Tesco vouchers for both through affordable car hire. In both cases the service and cars were excellent. In one case I made a mistake on the booking and affordable car hire (Sue) was extremely helpful in correcting this for me....thankyou.

Easy to book, and below the price from the ultimate provider, Europcar. All damage was well listed in English, and I would use it again.

First time using Affordable Car Hire service and can only say we were very impressed, the service was spot on, the desk assistant was extremely helpful and a credit to the company, we were given a brand new Audi which was in mint condition and the whole operation from pick up to final drop off was flawless, highly recommended

We booked using Tesco Vouchers. There were other costs on top. At collection Europcar charged more than had been quoted by Affordable for a one way fee. We paid this and on our return home once we contacted Affordable they refunded the difference. The Seville office was easy to find being at the railway station. We returned car at Malaga (car return directions could be better at Malaga).

I chose Europcar as they have good reviews and they have a flexible fuel policy, but they are up to 50 % more expensive than the budget companies. €68/week for a booster seat was a bit excessive. Using Tesco clubcard made it more affordable

Arriving from Bournemouth Airport into Alicanti late at night during the recent Half Term holidays, the tin lids (3) were wanting to be asleep and we still had a journey to Alcalali to accomplish. The lady on the desk was welcoming and realised that we were probably her last customer that evening. Sorted us out quickly with a car to fit everything in and wished us a good holiday. Good feeling, everything went well, rained all week but that pleased the natives, if not the kids ! and the checkout procedure a few days later was as professional. Will use these nice people again.

The service was easy to use all the way through and the price did not increase, even after I advised that Tesco vouchers were being used. We did pay approximately £50 more to upgrade our insurance cover, as we were concerned about the very high excess, but this was our choice. When we arrived in Tenerife the staff at Europcar were helpful and efficient. Although the car we ordered was not available, they provided a good alternative, which gave the space at a cheaper price. To make up the difference, they allowed us to return the car with half a tank of petrol, so we thought they were fair and reasonable. The only concern we had; they did not check the car upon our return and we were then concerned they could say we had damaged the car and charge us (they took a swipe of our credit card), when there had been no accidents.

Booked using Tesco vouchers and was impressed that there was no additional premium for doing this. Car was supplied through Eupacar in Menorca and was brand new with no miles on the clock. Car was economical (we did 600km on half a tank of fuel).

I booked a Europcar hire in Palma Mallorca via Affordable Car Hire. The price was cheaper than any other provider. My online purchase experience was very good - absolutely no issues, and hence would happily recommend and also use again next time.
